Tuyan Rite of Death
The Tuyan ritualistic practice of putting the dead to rest, taught to them by Rhudryn, the Lady of Renewal.
History
The ritual started long before, back when they were still cannibalistic warlords, before Rhudryn even blessed the Tuyans, warlords would eat the hearts of the leaders they have conquered, seeing it as a sign of dominance within Tuya, that when a heart was eaten their soul was destroyed and belonged to the victor.
The rite however has remained through history, becoming less violent and more of a way to place a soul to rest, now being the direct way to lay someones soul to rest and send it to Rhudryn.

Execution
Should a Tuyan missionary witness someone die, a living soul and not a husked out undead, the ritual rites will proceed and the follower of Rhudryn will carve the heart out of the deeased and eat it, sending their soul to Rhudryn and laying them to complete rest.
Components and tools
The Tuyans are simplistic, usually carving the heart out with their claws, though other followers of Rhudryn, ones that may not have claws of sorts, will carry a ritualistic dagger to carve the heart out with.
Participants
The main participant is of course the one carving the heart, they are at that point a messenger of Rhudryn, sending the soul to her so the individual may rest peacefully.
Observance
There is no direct area where the rites are provided, as it is simply done on the spot and then the body is buried elsewhere. However if a renowned Tuyan were to die within the confines of Tuya, this rite would turn into a large ritual, with them being laid to rest under the howling, cackling and chanting of a cacophany of Tuyans, sending their soul to an eternal afterlife with their goddess.
Very consistent with the cannibalistic and headhunting rituals of primitive human tribes... A little more polish (but no art :-)) would really enhance this article. Interesting work.
