Weekly Market
Built up around the first well dug for the fishers in the town's early days, this large square hosts merchants of all descriptions on Starday, which is the first day of the week. Merchants come from Seaton, and Burle to sell their wares. Action starts even before the sun rises as the merchants dicker and bargain amongst themselves while setting up their stalls for the coming day. This market rarely contains anything of significant value, but it often contains wares, equipment, and tools necessary for daily life in the hinterlands. In fact, you can normally find things up to a value of 150gp.
Purpose / Function
To provide a limited access shopping mall that players can find any item in the Player's Handbook up to a value of 150gp. Can also be used to garner more information about the surrounding countryside, including potential rumors of greater Keoland kingdom concerns.
History
This market started as a place to sell fish. While it is still a place to broker a contract of fish for the surrounding countryside, it has grown to include a wide variety of goods. It's also grown to include entertainers and food stalls and is often a place for social interaction for the surrounding lands.
