Ismark Kolyanovich

A tall man with dirty blonde hair, Ismark strikes an imposing figure among the typical dour and demure Barovian populace. However, most villagers refer to him as "Ismark the lesser" due to the overshadowing presence of his father, Kolyan, the Burgomaster for the village of Barovia. Though gregarious, Ismark remains quiet on most subjects except his sister, Ireena, or the ruler of this realm, Lady Strahd. Upon discussing Lady Strahd, he discloses that his sister, Ireena, bears an obsessive level of attention from Strahd. This obsession of Strahd distresses Ismark, particularly since he's not seen Strahd behave in this manner. Ismark also relates that Lady Strahd has been the ruler of this realm for as long as can be remembered. The party first met Ismark within the Blood on the Vine tavern where he enlisted their aid to escort his sister to a neighboring town.
