Welcome to Odezia
Your journey starts here
Welcome traveller, to the world called Odezia. My name is Ordall Marvo Nisent and I will be your realm guide. Before you start your journey, first read this preface in full, for it might save your life, both from the dangers that roam the wilds as well as awkward social situations.
At first glance, Odezia seems like a peaceful and magnificent world. The scenery is one of wonder, prosperity and development. Against a backdrop of lush green forests, and blooming fields and meadows, puffs of smoke can be seen as a locomotive rattles by. Great industrial cities attract people from the countryside seeking work at the factory or a new exciting life.
Upon your journey, you will likely visit waterfalls defying gravity, everblooming meadows and an inextinguishable flame dancing on a lake. You will meet various people of exciting backgrounds, and likely a mage or two. Maybe you will even meet some merfolk, a Great Beast of the Wild, Lord of the Heavenly Skies or Ruler of the Deep Blue.
But when night starts to fall, this ruse of peacefulness will dissipate. Out of the shadows, monsters will come. Malevolent creatures they are called. The Shadow era has been riddled with creature outbreaks, and it seems like its only increasing. Luckily, protection against these creatures exists and the peoples of Odezia have learned to live with them, but be careful because nobody will attempt to safe you when they get to you.
Continents of Odezia
The known world consists of four continents: Erumir, Namda, Taklasil and Fergel. The first three are all connected by land, while the latter is divided from the others by a stretch of ocean.Erumir | |
