Kyen
Kyen is an enormous landmass in the center of Oculus jutting out of the ocean in a plateau as if it was lifted up by the gods themselves. This continent the 2nd largest on Oculus but it is the hottest.
Geography
Being the center of the sun facing world it receives 100% sunlight all the time. Temperatures rise to blistering levels the closer you get to the center and as a result the content is almost entirely uninhabited. I only major city lies on the western edge called Viteafinis which acts as a hub for trading between the many continents of Oculus. At the heart of Kyen lies the great impact. This giant crater spanning a thousand miles across is one of Oculus’s greatest mysteries.
Fauna & Flora
Due to its extreme temperatures most of Kyen life is either reptilian in nature or lives beneath the surface. Sphinxes are also known to call the desolate wastelands home.
Natural Resources
Kyen is known worldwide for it rare minerals and metals. Just outside of Viteafinis is the worlds largest Adamantine mine. Other sky metals and even diamond deposits have been found beneath the blistering surface.
