Riftshire Otherworld Stronghold
Purpose / Function
This sprawling city like fortress is the center of all Ociles activities in The Otherworld . In it's heart is a giant portal leading to a similar portal in Riftshire. Surrounding it is a giant, well maintained wall protecting the stronghold from the various monsters and hazards the Otherworld poses.
Alterations
When the stronghold was first established, it was just a portal with a shoddy wall. Over the years, the wall has strengthened and expanded. Traders and merchants have entered and built shops to sell goods to the guilds, and buy up the exotic goods the Otherworld gives, such as Animus Flowers and Dragon scales. The military has also increased drastically in and around the fortress. With wars becoming obsolete in Ociles, many warriors sought their battles in the wild world beyond the portal.
