Ociles

The grind of gears in the distance, the sparkle of mana powering generators, the shimmering portals to the Otherworld. Welcome to Ociles. Ociles is a world in the middle of an arcane industrial revolution, bringing new wonders into the world. This revolution is powered by the discovery of the Otherworld, a plane of wild magic and wild monsters.   Many have tried to claim parts of the Otherworld, leading to a colonial rush. Adventurers flock to this new world, eager to set up their place in it. Many die due to monsters as well as the natural disasters such as arcane storms and earthquakes that shatter the ground. Others manage to establish guilds to act as outposts in this chaotic new world.   Back on Ociles, the three main races have been inventing and refining tech. The most numerous of these three races are the humans, who are basically normal earth humans but average 8 feet tall and can have any hair/eye color of the rainbow. Blue hair, red eyes, green hair, purple eyes, all of it is natural. The second is the Muntjac, a race of gnome sized centaurs with primate feet instead of hooves. These feet allow them to climb with their arms free. The last is the Naithar, serpentfolk with humanoid torsos and long serpentine lower bodies.
