Zora Writer

order is the only way forward

Personality:

Pros:

Zora is intelligent and quick to respond. She can think of an argument, or even make a whole plan in seconds. If she has the time, her true strenghts come out. Her strategies have several backups and can be detailed to the littlest of things, mainly thanks to her ability to strategize and dive deep into details.
Her knowledge of things and memory don't fall short either. She can remember far easier than others, including things such as a color of someone's shoes or names of several people after just meeting them. Her memory greatly works with said knowledge of things, whenever it is military strategies, economics, geography, nature, or just random trivia and things others wouldn't even bother to think about.
Her min is truly a powerhouse, but also her only strenght. She doesn't have interests, besides reading, or at least hides them well.

Cons:

She is cold at heart. Zora doesn't care about feelings or personal issues of others, as she finds them to be a waste of time or even dangerous. There are many instances of her denying someone a day off for their marriage anniversary or brushing off someone's feelings like they are nothing and mean nothing.
She is very controlling and a perfectionist. While it might help her perfect her future plans, reality is often dissapointing and she runs out of time before she can perfect everything, leaving her stressed and irritated. If her plans don't go her way, combined with her controlling personality, she just becomes worse in every way and starts grasping at straws to just get a little closer to perfection, no matter the cost, possibly ruining everything and getting even more stressed.
Her controlling doesn't end here. She refuses to work with anyone and must be at charge and have a final say in everything she takes part in. There are no suggestions and opposing views in her world.
And to add a cherry on top, she can become so stressed, she uses drugs as a rielief. She is addicted to the drug known as red petal, which is starting to take toll on her health, both mental and physical.

Motivation:

Zora want to control everything. People have too much freedom, with no proper order in any of it, and she plans to fix that. She believes only way to make the world right is for her to rule everything and plan everyhting, incluing people's lives.

Once her mother stopped feeding her, Zora had to find food herself, often searching the dangerous jungle. But she wasn't always able to find much, slowly loosing weight do dangerous levels. Eventually her mother completely dissapeared. There was no goodbie, not even a message. The 12 year old was alone.

Over this time, she grew cold and uncaring, always self reliant. Noone ever taught her anything. She even had to figure out how to speak on her own from observing strangers. Zora begun to hate the world and the people. Only if her mother chose to stay and take care of her. If only she was forced to stay, life would be so much better.

She never went far away from her home, so noone was there to find out about her and help. She slowly grew desperate. Once she noticed a book merchant passing by. She knew that books were expensive and took her shot, sucesfully stealing a few. She planned to exchange them for proper food, clothing, or even housing. But fate took her in a different direction. That night, she got intigued by the books. The strange symbols and an occasional picture simply amazed her and she chose to keep them for now.

At this point she had a makeshift house and learned to find enough food to survive, so she pushed further in life. If only she was in control, told people what to do. They would be much nicer, there would be no crime, no murders, no children left alone. There would be peace and order.

Only thing she still enjoyed was her job. She learned a lot thanks to her memory, about anything she could. Economics, leadership, war, geography, or even things like carpentry and fishing. But her job was taking a toll on her. She was always stressed and couldn't find a relief, until she discovered the drug red petal. The tea made from it tasted nice and let her relax, let her loose herself in her own thoughts. She was 17 at this time and quickly became addicted to it.

Once she became 23, her views on the people and the world became more radical. She culdn't just live without acting upon it. If she took no actions, her life would be hell forever. That day she quit her job and began speaking in public about her views and plans to change the world. People liked their current lives and mostly ignored her, until she started gaining a small following. The current King began to fear her. He couldn't let someone like her preach out on the streets, what if she took the throne and destroyed everything as it is known?

He sent a few of the secret guards to kill her. At this point, people also started to hate her, so her death would be simply ignored. But luck was on Zora's side and she escaped unharmed. People's thoughts:

  • I heard her speak about her monstrous ideas. Only filth comes out of her mouth.
  • So cold and uncaring, I fear to show even a shred of emotion in front of her.
  • At first I took interest in her words, but once she showed me her plans, I couldn't continue. Noone should die for this. Noone.
  • What could have caused a young woman to become such a monster? I fear the answer.
  • She is right, we need order in this world. It isn't right to have so much freedom.
  • The way she speaks, her cold tone, it sends shivers down my spine. It only makes her words more monstrous.
  • I'll kill her personally if I have to. Someone like her doesn't deserve life.
