Clothing:

Eraati have rather strange choice of clothing, or lack there of in some cases. Because of their belief that everyone should have their own beauty standards, everyone wears when they see fit. They still have their stereotypes. Eraati tend to wear light single-colored clothing decorated with symbols, dried or living plants and wood.
Women tends to wear long shirts that cover their lower parts, no pants, sandals, and jewelry made out of wood carvings, flowers or even colorful stones. They often wear flower bands or crowns.
Men on the other hand tend to wear shirts, boots, and knee-long skirts, heavily decorated with wood, making it look like light armor in some cases.

Housing:

Eraati build wooden huts, often circular or rectangular. Walls are made out of logs, or heavily intertwined twigs and branches covered in mud. Roof are a combination of wood, bark and dried plant matter. These huts often contain a bedroom, small storage area and sometimes an 'additional room' of their choice. Some huts are even built on, or in trees.
These huts don't last very long and need to be repaired or rebuilt once every 10-30 years. Thankfully they are rather small and don't take too long to build.
These huts are built in family circles, each family member, or a pair (children, parents, elders), having their own hut. Because of their size, kitchens, workshops and other things are outside, some just having a makeshift roof above them.

Work:

Eraati take it easy and rarely work longer than needed, around 10 hours a day. They do some jobs in their homes, often having at least one family member doing so, who can in turn, take care of the children. Even elders sometimes choose to work, teaching younger generations their knowledge.

Childcare:

While Eraati tend to stay with their children even during work, they are rather allowing and let them leave their sight for extended periods of time, which might lead to injuries. Because of their culture, children tend stay and live near, or in the same house circles as their parents.

Children mostly learn from their parents while they work, but are also taught outside of that. Eraati tend to form learning circles, operated by druids, who teach the young, but mostly about nature. However, this makes Eraati greatly knowledgeable on fauna and flora.

Free time:

Children have a lot of free time and mostly play classic children's games or climb trees and play by making things out of plants, mostly wood and flowers. Adults tend to play some of these games, but mostly they practice one or two crafts as a hobby, or take care of a personal garden, whenever it is food plants, trees, flowers, or even exotic plants.

Eraati traditions:

Naming traditions:

Eraati use Slavic names. For surnames they correlate them with plants and/or their family profession. Children aren't given names, until they reach adulthood, which is when they chose their name or even surname. This happens during a yearly Ritual of Names, which is when the participants strip naked and drink a flower juice, then say their name. The ritual ends with dancing. Before this, children give each other nicknames, some of which are kept as names.
  • Male: Boris, Casimir, Edin, Gaidar, Kazimir, Preben, Rasputin, Stanislav, Vladimir, Yaromir

  • Female: Bogdana, Danica, Lida, Milena, Neda, Rada, Svetlana, Vladimira, Yaroslava, Zora

  • Neutral: Slava, Vlasta

Adulthood:

Eraati are considered adult at the age of 15.

Marriage:

While it doesn't matter, women tend to propose to men. Before their marriage is sealed, they are taken into the forest, blindfolded, often into an area they don't know. If they find each other within the decided time or before sunset, it shows they are meant for each other and can marry.
During the marriage the woman wears clothes made out of flowers and the man armor out of wood. Their marriage is sealed once they sleep together after the celebration.

Casual relationships:

Eraati tend to have romantic and sexual relationships outside of marriage, often with a person they aren't attracted to, but never sleep together, as that is a seal of marriage. Sometimes this casual relationship results in a child, which both parents take care of, even after they get married.

Homosexuality:

While marriage for same sex couples is not permitted, some people still have romantic and sexual relationships with people of the same gender.
  • There are still groups and religions against such relationships.

Birth:

Giving birth is done in specialized huts with a help of another woman. The parents are then given a special flower, which they are supposed to take care of. If it live for a long time, it is a sign of good luck and health for the baby. But if it dies early, it is a sign that something horrible will happen to the baby, such as a sickness or death.
  • Sometimes parents replace the flower when it dies and lie, hoping others will see bad things happening to the child as unfortunate rather than a sign of bad luck.

Act of sharing:

While eraati still own things, they share a lot between each other. It is common for people to give each other food, money, clothes, furniture or other things. Sometimes people even take each other's stuff, as they don't consider taking 'small' things theft.

Art as a part of life:

Eraati are close to art and incorporate it into their work. Clothes, houses, tools, furniture and many other things are decorated by paint, art, carvings, etc.

Individuality above all:

Eraati value individuality and personal choices above all. Whenever it is choosing a name, partner, job, clothing, or many other things. It is what they are known for and hopefully, it never changes.

Nature celebrations:

Eraati greatly value nature and incorporate it into their religions, culture and laws. They celebrate each of the 4 seasons of Bloom, Warmth, Growth and Rest.
They have yearly celebrations of themselves, as nature's children, trees, flowers and animals.
And lastly, yearly celebrations of land, forests, oceans lakes and rivers, plains and mountains.
All of these celebrations are basically the same. Eraati decorate themselves, their homes and other places with flowers and other decorations, then spend time home with their families, or out celebrating, dancing, eating, drinking and just having fun.

Child relationship:

Having a relationship with a child is acceptable, as it is seen as a personal choice, if both 'consent' to it, but people are slowly coming to a realization it might not be a good thing.

Nudity:

Nudity is seen as normal to the point, some people don't wear anything in public. Being nude is not seen as sexual, which often confuses other cultures.

Prostitution:

While practiced very rarely, some women do so. Prostitution is quite different from other places, as it incorporates casual sex, payed relationship or even bearing someone's child.
  • Some prostitutes even offer having a marriage, but this is done in secret, because if people knew it was payed, they wouldn't allow the marriage.
