Great North

The Great North, also sometimes called the Far North, is a region of Stegaria that broadly stretches from northern Occident to the foothills of The Spine . It is largely flat, snowy tundra, although ocassional mountain ranges or boreal forest break up the endless white fields. In the west, it has a long shoreline on the North Sea, and to the east it shares a border with Varshalshka .

The Great North was the furthest border of the Remaran empire, and control of the far-flung tribal kingdoms and feudal duchies was always a concern for the Emperors.
