1207 Battle of Ammand

The Battle of Ammand or the Fall of Ammand was the final battle of the War of the Cleric, after which Kairoz the Andorian was crystalized and House Andoriani was established.

The Conflict

Prelude

Following the Long Prayer, the city of Ammand was in turmoil due to the spread of Deopatholosis within it. After six months of siege and plague, with Light's Hand literally inching their way towards the walls, Kairoz orders the gates be breached.

The Engagement

In less than a day of fighting, Light's Hand easily defeats the few diseased combatants garrisoned in the city. The cleric does not take part in the fight, instead healing the injured and feeding the hungry. He walks towards the Andorian Cathedral in Ammand, where he is encapsulated within a crystal. His forces take over the city.

Aftermath

Following his crystallization, several factions break in the Andorian church; eventually the church officially moves to Strathold and later Arisfurgz, with the governing aspects remaining in Ammand. Kairoz's firstborn, Lady Isolda Artzmit, is crowned as Queen of Ader. Former inquisitor Arnold Fairling is appointed as a the new Arch-Priest.
