Lonehearth

Nestled into the Rime in this harsh land is Lonehearth and is populated by a fierce people who will give the shirt off their back to a neighbor.  It was the first of the "Two Towns". Like its sister town, Auldale , it also sits on the Lac Dinval but further west and set against the harsh wilds of The Rime.
Its residents are a hardy and suspicious folk prone to cautious preparation against the elements and life in general. They are reserved with outsiders not from the north, but welcome the barbarian tribes of the Rime into their town and offer shelter and trade. At night you won't hear anything out in the streets but cold snow, but get near the Longhouse Tavern and you'll hear no end of merriment, music, and story sharing between locals.
Today it is a part of the Amberlight Commonwealth along with their barbarian tribe friends.
