Auldale

Auldale was founded on the Lac Dinval . This lake is famous for the Aul that is only found here in the north. It is caught for two reasons - food and a special material called Whitebone Whitebone's primary purpose is that of crafting. The trinkets, jewelry, knick knack, and other such novelties produced by the bones of this fish are sought the world over and keep money and trade flowing through this wintery land.
The weather of the north is a cruel and wicked thing. Only accessible once spring thaws the winter snows do the land passes become passable, and ocean travel become possible. The only thing to rival its wickedness is the Lost Soul Woods  where it's said if you go to deep you'll hear the whispers of an evil long forgotten. Many still choose to make the journey here to harvest the precious wood.
