Amberlight Commonwealth

The Commonwealth is what happens when a failing empire splinters into several independent cities and comes together under their own, new, banner. During the fall of the Denesari Empire the leaders of Amberlight saw their futures becoming uncertain. This growing fear led to reaching out and forming trusting relationships with the leadership of the Two Towns of Lac Dinval and the neighboring city of Goldport . Once a treaty was signed the Amberlight Commonwealth was born as a nation of its own.
Trade and travel is not easy between the cities creating a logistical problem. The northern pass spends most of the year being impassable due to snow. The ice floes make ocean travel difficult nearly any time of the year. Alternative land travel involves going through the Imperial checkpoints at Crossroads and the north pass. Despite all this they've held strong for several decades, though the new Drasillian Empire seeks to reunite the continent under one banner. 
Though the alliance was formed on the premise that all cities would be equal there is growing unrest that Amberlight is receiving the full benefit of this alliance and there's nothing common about the wealth of it.  While the north is content being left to their own devices and happy with a defense treaty and regular ale shipments the city of Goldport is faltering.  All sea trade now goes through Amberlight.  All land trade takes the north road around Goldport.  This growing discontinent has allowed agents of Drasillian Empire to further sow the seeds of discontent...

The Amberlight Commonwealth's colors are a an amber cloak with no filigree or further decoration.
