The Spear of Crosslinks

Jyana Crosslinks was a great hero back in the years of dismay, she gave her life to kill the beasts of the darkness which protected Lianeous, Goddess of Death and Disaster, who ruled across the lands. It was only after Jyana disposed of the creatures that Bushena was able to banish her evil sister back to the planes of Astraeus.
The Spear of Crosslinks struck the final blow and was the only thing that remained of the battle, imbued with magic of the divine, it has since been placed under the protection of magical wards created by Bushena herself and guarded around the clock by Paladins of Bushena's order.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Spear is thought to have gained its power from the destruction of Lianeous' beasts, but the exact reason is still unknown. Paladins and Wizards from across the world came to learn its secrets, and many tried to test the spear to seek the answers. However soon Bushena stopped this due to the high rate at which the researchers began to become ill with Exbus Cholus, the beginning of the outbreak that wiped out a large chunk of the population in the year 546.

Significance

The Spear of Crosslinks has both cultural and historical significance, having been created when Jyana Crosslinks destroyed Lianeous' beasts. It is also thought to be the cause of a plague of illness that washed over Northmarsh after Paladins and Wizards from across the land attempted to study it.
