Besket Culture
Mountains to the south, Taiga to the north, and stuck in a steep muddy Wetlands, one might wonder why the Besket live where they do. Fewer know the answer, as the Besket are not much for answering stranger's questions. Unrepresented in their Principalities or Empires, they have a deeply rural sense of community. This quiet resentment for outsiders gives them a reputation for being a cold or quiet people. This is rather wrong. During their festivals there is plenty of drink, merriment, and burning goat statues.

Ideals
Beauty Ideals
She was beauty to them. Intricate braided hair wrapped around her head multiple times, but not a strand fell past her ears. Her clothes were layered and complex, with multiple lace pieces accessorizing large flat colored fabric. She could outrun a wolf while carrying three baskets of rice on her neck, and her smile brought joy to a crying young baby.
He was beauty to them. Muscles stacked upon muscles, and rippling with body hair. He held in his hands a chisel and hammer, which he used to knock down a tree and craft a boat capable a taking his entire family to the nearby island . He looked as though he could kill a man with a glance, but exuded such warmth that none he loved could fear him.
