The Oracles of Dendrokipos

The Daughters of Hector
According to early texts, after Hector ascended to godhood, he remained in Vasileio for some time and made Ignosi into the splendid capitol city it is today. During that time, it is said that he took one lover and fathered a set of triplets. The girls were never named - at least not on any formal record. They were secluded from the public eye and raised in secrecy. Like most children of the gods, his daughters were gifted with immense magickal power. In order to keep them from the demanding public and to fully develop their powers, he snuck them out of Ignosi and took them to Dendrokipos, his personal forest he grew with Elanaah's blessing. There he left the girls with a guardian to watch over them and ward off any unwelcome patrons.
Visions and Prophecies
The greatest power of the Oracles is their precognition. The Daughters of Hector are gifted with visions of the future and use this to give advice or foretell grave warnings. Many argue whether their abilities are a blessing or a curse. With knowledge of the future there comes a level of safety, knowing what to look out for in your path. But also the fear of knowing all the hardships that lay before you.    The forest of Dendrokipos is a well-known maze. The potent magick in the area causes almost all who enter to be turned right around and back out of the forest. According to the myth passed down by the few Vasileians who knew of their mysterious birth and circumstance, men and women of great destiny and purpose would be granted access to travel through the forest unmolested in their pursuit of the grove. Upon arrival, they are met with a great Magickal Beast, which they must defeat as the second stage of entry. Once the guardian is defeated, the visitor will sit with the Oracles and drink the wine they make from the fruits of Dendrokipos. The Oracles will then share possible futures and the hurdles they will have to overcome to achieve them, advising them on any life decision that may come to pass.
