Zanele
Zanele is a Mocar woman of about 20 that work for Olivya Dain in Haram Bay. Her position is something like that of a lady in waiting who helps Dain with everyday tasks. She also axts as an onofficial advocate for the Mocar people who live on the Shoal Islands.
She can often be found at Dain's manor, or at The Rutting, Haram Bay's Brothel/Tavern. There are rumor that she work there some evenings, but unlike the other employees, she seems to have an exclusive client list, as not just anyone can hire her services.

Personal history
Zanele was born on Mosaw island in a Mocar village in the norther part of the island. She is strikingly beautiful and because of that her parents tried to hide her from the people of Haram Bay. Unfotunately she made the mistake of showing herself one day when people from the port city had come to trade. She ws noticed and the "traders" bargained with the chief for her. Not wanting to anger the people or Haram Bay the chief made a deal and Zanele was forced to go with the men. She was about 15 qt the time.
It wasn't long before the men who bought her were tired of her and sold her to a brothel in Haram Bay. Unlike many other women in her situation she maintained a strong snese of self and eventually cam to the attention of Olyvia Dain. Dain witnissed an argument between her and the Madam of the Rutting. She instantly took a liking to Zanele and asked Zanele to work for her. Since then Zanele has grown close to Dain and acted as her personal assistant.

Zanele did not have much of an education except that which most Mocar young ladies learn. Things like cooking, weaving baskets, growing herbs, etc. After Zanele was brought to the Rutting, she made it a point to educate herself. She taught herself how to read and read anything she could get her hands on.
After she went to work for Olyvia she has indugled even more in her passion for learning, ordering books from aborad in subject she was intetested in. She also pays close attention to the business practices of Haram Bay and has learned a lot about how the port functions.
