Personal history

Before ascending to Godhood, Keribus was a creature of great power. One of the Primal Dragons, a Moon Dragon. He spent most of his time, high above the surface of Nor, and rarely interacted with the inhabitants. He did have a weakness though, he loved the sound of music. He would conceal himself, by taking the shape of a humanoid and moving among people when there was good music happening. He sometimes even spoke to the performer, but very rarely revealed his true nature.
Keribus would spend long spans of time in solitude, as he was worried if he spent to much time amount the music makers, that he would fall under the spell of the music and not want to leave, and though he was very fond of the music, he was more fond of the night sky and the freedom it offered, and his ability to visit Nor's Moons.
During one of his bouts of solitude Keribus met another Primal Dragon who was called Scylla. Scylla, had also come from the world beyond, and befriended Keribus. They spent much time together, and eventually Keribus introduced Scylla to music. While Scylla was fascinated he never held the same love of music as the Moon Dragon did.
What Keribus didn't know was that Scylla was a Void Dragon, a servant of the being that live in the outer blackness far beyond Nor. The being that inhabited this void were alien and strange and had strange thoughts and goals. The also wanted very much to find a way to Nor, but they were held back by a barrier put in place long before Nor existed to protect the Prime Material plane form them.
Their Prison wasn't inescapable, and they could be brought into the same plane that Nor resided on, if they were brought there by one who made that plane their home. Scylla knew that Keribus knew the people of Nor and came up with a plan to trick the Moon Dragon into helping him summon the creatures of the Void to Nor where they could do as they willed.
Scylla came to Keribus and explained to him that he heard this wonderful music from beyond the Prime material plane, and invited Keribus to listen. The Moon Dragon did so and could hear something but it was not clear. Scylla thought that if the inhabitant of Nor could use their Magic they could open a channel to this strange music, and perhaps learn new ways and sounds that they could use to enhance their own art.
Keribus blind to Scylla's deception with the though that he may help the people of Nor find even more music, went to several people whom he had previously revealed himself too. Those people were Bard of the highest skill, who could blend magic with music for amazing effects. When they heard that there may be a place out amongst the stars that had strange music they agrees that they need to try to access this place where they could possibly learn and grow their craft.
With information from Scylla, Keribus helped them craft a song that could rip open a gateway to the void. Fortunately before the song was ever played, the ruse was discovered and stopped. Because of the danger of allowing creature from the Void into Nor, and the threat they would pose even to divine beings, Scylla and Keribus were punished. They were transformed into human bodies, losing their draconic and primal powers. They did still retain their immortality and memories though.
Keribus eventually embraced his humanity, and became a master of Magic, and Music. He taught many new and upcoming bards their craft. Scylla however never accepted his fate. As a human he and Keribus often encountered one another, as Scylla was constantly trying to find a way to gain power to return to the Void or summon them here. Keribus often would often counter his efforts, and it almost became a game between the two. They even grew to have a mutual respect for each other.
Eventually Scylla heard about an object called the Circle of Fifths. While he knew the Gods would never truly allow him to open a way to the Void, this artifact supposedly had the power to bestow Godhood. It was complicated and required the services of very skilled musicians. Scylla recruited a young mage/musician name Lucif, who was a student of Keribus. He tricked him into thinking that the artifact was going to be used to create a new type of bardic magic. Lucif and a group of adventurers search for several pieces of music to make the artifact work, and also the artifact itself. They found all the pieces and the artifact, but also discovered the plot.
Scylla who had been holding onto what the adventurers found, had secretly gathered a group of musicians who could play the complicated songs. He has almost completed the activation, when Lucif, his friends and Keribus found them. It was too late to stop the ceremony, so Keribus forced Scylla out from the ritual, and made himself a target instead. The power of the artifact and the Perfect song, turned Keribus into a god.
The circle was broken in the process and Scylla was destroyed. Keribus tool the portfolio of Music, magic two things which he loved in life, and of the moon, where his soul was born.
Later, when Gilidan restructured the Pantheon, Keribus gained the portfolio of Fate as well, taking it from Kiril, who had given up his godhood.
