The Elemental Academy
The Elemental Academy is a college in North London where humanoids learn how to control their powers. It is partially a collegiate school since many other buildings under the Academy are placed all over the UK and Europe. There are also two smaller colleges in Dustbane City. The Elemental Academy was set up by the Elemental Outriders to keep humanoids safe during the infighting.
Purpose / Function
The Elemental Academy was created as a safe haven for humanoids to train their powers during the infighting. There wasn't a place for humanoids to escape their persecution, so the Outriders created a college made solely for humanoids.
Alterations
After the initial building was built, the Academy expanded to include four "Wings" that corresponded to one of the four Greek elements. Each Wing is a separate building with dorms, training rooms and many other rooms to match. This was to give it a more humanoid feel, so people didn't feel unwelcome. Each Wing being a certain colour to match the element, but humanoids weren't forced into one particular Wing. That's because humanoids tend to have more than one elemental power, and the Wings could help people train.
History
During the time the Academy was built, humans were persecuting humanoids, so they had to go into hiding. This prompted a few people to build a place where humanoids could be safe from others.
