Ko'rukk

The smallest rukk species, ko'rukk (sometimes called goblins) often find themselves pushed to the edges of Rukk society and forced to do the most menial jobs. Many ko'rukk spend their lives trying to win the favour of an han'rukk or ta'rukk to gain status as a pet or servant.   The prevaling theory is that ko'rukk are the result of breeding with halflings, although given the size difference between halflings and ta'rukk, the exact mechanics are best left unexamined.

Ability Score Increase. Increase any score by +2 and any other score by +1. Most ko'rukk favour Constitution.

Size.Ko'rukk average between 2'8" and 3'4", with males being slightly bigger than females. Your size is Small
Speed. Your walking speed is 25 feet
Age. Ko'rukk live short, brutal lives and are considered adults at age 12, although they don't reach physical maturity any faster than the other sapient species. Even the most cautious ko'rukks rarely live longer than 50 years unless they find themselves under the protection of a powerful patron.
Alignment. Most ko'rukk are wildly chaotic, though they have no particular inclination toward good or evil.
Size. Ko'rukk average about 3 feet tall and weigh about 40 pounds. Your size is Small.
Darkvision. Thanks to your heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Rukkish and one other language of your choice.
Origins. Ko'rukk come in two variants - Desolate and Illumined - depending on whether they were born in the Epicentran Desolation or the Savisan Illumined Decay.

 

Desolate ko'rukk
Grit. You have resistance to fire damage and poison damage. In addition, when you are wearing no armor, your AC is equal to 11 + your Dexterity modifier.
Underfoot and Undervalued. Choose one skill or tool you used to keep yourself valuable. You gain proficiency in that skill. Animal Handling and Survival are most common.

 

Illumined ko'rukk
Spiritually Quenched. You have resistance to necrotic and psychic damage, and need only half as much water to survive as other species.
Inner Glow. You know the Light and Starry Wisp cantrips. Choose Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma. This is your spellcasting ability score for these cantrips.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Ko'rukk are mostly found in the Epicentran Desolation, although there is a small community in the Illumined Decay.
