The Desolation

Three thousand miles from edge to edge and roughly ovoid in shape, the Desolation is ringed with a large mountain range that acts as a natural barrier between the strange creatures and plants that roam it. The soil in the Desolation is poor, and water scarce, but it is livable enough to support several solid populations of creatures - most notably the Rukk Empire. Depending on the precise part of the Desolation a character is in, they are subject to any or all changepool magical effects.
