Golden Dwarf Inn
The Golden Dwarf Inn is a small dwarf settlement, not unlike a hamlet located on, and in a sense making up, the border on the road in-between the dwarven village of Eberek Hovel to the north and the human village Layers to the south.
The settlement mostly resemble that of a fort, with a 7-foot stone wall outside a hill. The inside doesn't seem to to have much to offer neither. There are some buildings within the walls, the tavern and inn for one, as well as stables and a barrack. The settlement house a somewhat hardy and capable amount of dwarfs for what seem as its size. There is of course a mine with an entrance opening into the hill, from where it seem that more dwarves enter and exit than what there seem to be space for at the inn and barrack. Many are allowed entrance into the settlement, in contrast to other similar settlements around the borderlands.
To the west from the settlement lead a road through the wilderness of hills, woods and grassland. Every mile, for sixteen miles, a there is a dwarven longhouse homesteads surrounded by a low stone wall within which graze different cattle. The road end at Travoks' Homestead that was laid in ruin during the beginning half of the year 157.
To the east a road with a dwarven homestead every mile till the forest edge and The Thickets Ward guard post 9 miles away.
The foreman at the settlement, in charge of security, is foreman Vondal of Dankil.
The position of Elder has been assigned to the 121 year old Einkil of Dankil, son of Dundring, former acolyte in Dwindling under Elder Tolbera.
