The Thickets Ward guard post

Nine miles east of the Golden Dwarf Inn lay the Thickets Ward guard post. It stand guard along the southern border of the Far Bordeland and keep a watchfull eye toward the Thicket forest to the east where the thicket gremlins and other foul creatures take refuge. The guard post garrison a tría-dódeka of watchmen each with a Dódekachos and with the garrison foreman Nurkara (f, 222), making up a total of 40 dwarven watchemen.
