A collective organization of Cthulids who follow a hierarchy based on experience and age but all focused o nthe ultimate mission of releasing the Elder Gods.

A somewhat single-minded and utilitarian culture of worship and service to the Elder Gods. See all other groups as fodder, threats or assets without mercy or compassion.

History

The Cthulids were created at the end of the Planar war as a contingency byt the Elder Gods to still have some form of presence on the Material Plane. They were released as larva into the sea by Shub Nigguroth before the Elder Gods were sealed into the Elder Plane. The larva began to take hosts and work to release the Elder Gods. They prefer to remain covert and infiltrate all peoples they can. They use humanoids to transform into Cthulids as well as cultivating a religious followign for the Elder Gods. They are noted for their utilitarianism and disregard for life as well as lack of mercy or compassion. They are opposed by the Faery Courts and the Teth'Null who rebelled from the Intercession.

Territories

No set territory save secret enclaves underground but often move to stay elusive to their enemies.

Military

The Cthulids are powerful psychics and ritual magicians but also defended by servitore creatures such as Quaggoths, Hounds of Tindalos, Intellect Devourers, Tzakandi, Deep Ones and Mindwitnesses. The latter are often stole na d rehabilitated by Flumphs.

Religion

Worship the Elder Gods and work always to gain their favor through ritual magic and sacrifices.

Foreign Relations

Infiltrates and attempts to influence all governments and religions to mixed success. They are often opposed by Teth'Null agents who sabotage their efforts.
