The start of an adventure

9th of Irami'el 1245 AE

Our heroes had been sailing for a few weeks aboard the Swordfish Blade, a trading ship under the watchful eye of captain Ariandar Vil. As the journey reached it end and the ship came closer to the east coast of Terios another ship was spotted. It quickly became obvious that pirates were trying to enter the trading vessel and claim its hold for their own. Although the heroes tried to stop the ship from getting nearby it still came to a clash when both ships came next to each other. The pirates were, strangely enough kobolds, looking for treasures but not well organized and not expecting other fighters besides the crew. Although they tried to lay an ambush on their ship they failed and the kobolds decided to barricade themselves inside the ship afterwards.
It did not take long for Finrod to get inside. The remaining kobolds were no match for the combined powers of Finrod and Umeko and one of them surrendered. To their surprise Finrod and Umeko also found a human captive called Wilem Writingham in the hold. He claimed to be a diplomat and was glad to be rescued. Upon entering the captain’s cabin they found a map with the location of a kobold village which was confirmed to be their base by the captive kobold.
Once the loot was gathered the Swordfish Blade set sail again but this time towards Averton where it could dock for much needed repairs.
