Finding the controls

Once the Divine Golem had been shut down the group was able to enter the construct. Inside they were surprised to see how much room there actually was. Not only were there rooms to sleep but also a living room and kitchen.
Their peace of mind did not last long though as they soon heard that they were under attack. Several groteque creatures started their advance on the Divine Golem and the group would have to respond quickly.
The attacking creatures were vastly different. One was larged and had several heads and arms, another walked on 4 legs but had an upper torso as well and the last one seemed like a beast with bones portruding from its body. All of them, however, had been very cleary affected by Chaos Corruption.
As the golem was not yet ready to be used they group had to quickly go down to tackle the threat. Luckily they managed to do so but it became much clearer that the creatures in the Silent Forest can have strong abilities.

37 Althari'el

The next day they got some basic control over the construct with the help of Tanajin. Weapons were operated by different people so everyone had at least something to do while operating the Divine Golem. Tanajin himself took the task of controlling the movement of the Golem since he was of course very profiecient in this.
Once they got the hang of everything they set out to move the golem out of the Silent Forest. A bit later they encountered a small river in their path. As the group was reluctant to cross it they diverted the path of the river to ensure it flowed behind them.
Nothing major occurred for the rest of the day but Luanda saw a strange creature flying through the sky. Before she could get a btter look the creature was gone though.

Crystal Dragon

The next day the creature that Luanda saw flying high above made its appearance. When it came close everyone could see cleary what it was, a gigantic dragon made of blue crystals! After getting the hang of the controls yesterady this would be a perfect opportunity to test the combat capabilities of the Divine Golem.
However, it soon became clear that this was not their average adversary. The crystal dragon was strong and even showed telekinetic capabilities as it uprooted several trees and flung it at the golem. The Golem itself took quite a beating but eventually the dragon was killed with a large blast from the main gun.
After investigating the dragon it became clear that a strange but powerful looking sword was stuck in the side of the dragon. Despite it having a negative impact on his mind Finrod still took it an managed to suppress the headache it was giving him. Since the dragon that they killed looked ancient they decided that perhaps they could use the heart to make themselves stronger. It is known that after a dragon's death there is a large supply of magical residue in its body. Both Luanda and Finrod ate part of the heart and felt more mentally resilient afterwards.
