Great Flower-Fruit Mountain
Daikakazan (大花果山, "Great Flower-Fruit Mountain") is a mountain on the edge of the Arcane Sea next to the Getsuhon Archipelago.
Geography
A large waterfall—the namesake of the Water-Curtain Cave Heaven—and river runs down the mountainside.
Fauna & Flora
The Great Flower-Fruit Mountain was named for its numerous flora, which is mostly attributed to its isolation from most civilizations for most of the mountain's history. The few cultures that have occupied (or neighbored) this region—such as the Monkey King's faction or Empire of Getsuhon—took great care to do as little harm to the ecosystem.
The abundance of food sources allows the mountain to sustain a sizable, diverse population of wildlife. However, thanks the Koekai, the Monkey King, the macaque became the dominant species.
Natural Resources
The Great Flower-Fruit Mountain is rich with elemental magic. Like any mountain, it has a lot of earth magic, and due to the wealth of plant life, it is a great source of plant magic. This plant magic is further bolstered by a decent amount of water magic supplied by a portal to the Elemental Plane of Water hidden in the Water-Curtain Cave Heaven.
The top of the mountain is a converging point for various flows of magic. It is unknown if this is due to tampering by the original Monkey King, Son Goku, or simply a natural occurrence that he found. Regardless, while slow, there was enough magic to facilitate the birth of Koekai.
