Presidential Car of Virarona

The presidential car of Virarona was made especially for the president of the country in 1935, so that the president could travel to smaller towns in his country, and be seen during travel. The car is painted in the national colors, and it is open topped, so people can see him, but enclosed in magical force fields, which prevent anyone inside from being hit by projectiles.   The vehicle was actually commissioned by the president, who wanted to be able to travel around the country more often while causing minimal obstruction to the citizens of Virarona going about their lives. He also liked the idea of being able to travel in a single car and not be both preceded and followed by lots of people there to protect him. He felt this made him less personable and seemingly more difficult to access. Therefore, a car was created that would allow him to travel with minimal security, as the car itself could provide security while also allowing him to interact with the public.   Originally nicknamed "The Desire," by the president himself, who claimed that when the people of Virarona saw it, everyone would want one, it later got nicknamed The Bandit by the people of Virarona, as the president would often take it out without warning and visit various cities even though he had not planned such visits with his security. This brought no end of annoyance to his security staff, and the name quickly stuck. It is also sometimes called The Patriotic Bandit or The Presidential Bandit, as it is painted in the country's colors.
