Beacon Tower

Beacon Tower is, well, the shining Beacon of the City of Cratos. Located at the center of the City, within the central district, Beacon Tower serves many key rolls for the city, as well as being a landmark and attraction for all, citizens and tourists alike. This massive multi mile tall structure sores over all other buildings and can be seen across the entire perimeter of Cratos. By day, a bustling center of events, trade, and activities, by night, a shining Beacon of protection and comfort. Beacon Tower allows the people of Cratos, and other Nations, to be united as one.
As expected by its size, there are many levels to this tower all with different purposes or services. From training spaces, lecture halls, and supply shops, to research facilities, and ceremonial chambers. But Beacon Towers most important roles are the networks it creates of the most sophisticated communication system to cover this continent and the generation of energy across all of Cratos.
Another of the major roles the Tower plays is located on the Gound floor. Here can be found the Cratos Request Center where the provision of Missions for Hunters to take place. People from all over the city can report in requests or needs as simple as stolen possessions or lost pets, to as advanced as a Familia member and Hunter who hasn't returned in days from the wilderness. Some missions can be completed individually rather than as a team too, giving the party flexibility to operate independently when needed. While other missions might require the unification of two or more Hunter Parties to work together and accomplish the task. These distress calls reach across the entire nation and can sometimes require air travel to reach. Whatever the threat is, the missions are divided out to the Hunters, who can take them on in exchange for Gil. Along with exploring the dungeons, this can be a Hunters largest source of income.
The Grand Exchange can also be found here. This is where Hunters can come in to trade in their dungeon findings for Shimmer  the currency used in Cratos.
