Sradzar
Sradzar is a cleric of Skoraeus Stonebones, the Living Rock, and the leader of the stone giant community within Brazenthrone. He is an intelligent man known for both his martial prowess and skill as a diplomat. Though he is strict and demanding, he is never cruel and treats his word as his bond. These traits make him one of the most reasonable individuals to be found in Brazenthrone.
His people's pact with Deepking Oghren Orzammar III is ancient; for long as an Orzammar sits upon the throne, his people will remain and defend the city from threats. This notably only extends to external threats; any political ploys or other dangers that come to Brazenthrone from within Brazenthrone are not Sradzar's concern. In exchange, his people's section of the city is their own and no duergar are permitted there without invitation, save for the Deepking himself (who does visit them on occasion).
Journey Into the Underdark Arc
Invitation to the Enclave
The adventurers of the Thaig Expedition received an invitation to visit Brazenthrone stone giant enclave from Sradzar after he learned they helped restrain one of his people who'd briefly been inflicted with madness from dark faerzress exposure. Sradzar welcomed the adventurers when they arrived, expressing his personal thanks for their assistance in making sure no one was killed. The adventurers shared what they knew of dark faerzress with him, which seemed to confirm a theory of Sradzar's that this phenomenon was unnatural. He spoke of an evil stirring within the Underdark, something so wicked it made the rock itself cry out in pain and horror as madness began to seep into the deepest depths of the earth. Sradzar confirmed the dark faerzress had been present for at least a few decades, having seen it himself when helping the Deepking liberate the derro from Gyan'dis, but it seemed to be only recently that its effects became so profound. The adventurers expressed interest in learning more if they could, which reminded Sradzar to give them a reward for their deed yesterday. He approached Elycia (who seemed nervous and ready to bolt like a rabbit at something so large approaching her, but held her ground) and handed her a Stonespeaker Crystal. The adventurers thanked Sradzar and told him to contact them if he needed help with anything else. Nothing came to the cleric's mind at the moment, but he informed them he'd keep their offer in mind.
