Captain Xavier's Lost Treasure

Captain Xavier was once a feared pirate who pillaged and plundered the seas and coasts on the south side of Nexus' central continent. After many years of reigning terror upon these waters, he eventually made more enemies than he could handle. Captain Xavier's enemies united and lured the pirate into a trap that cut him off from the sea, forcing Xavier and his crew to flee up the Moonflow River inland. This was decidedly a poor move as it wasn't long before the pirate captain ran afoul of The River King and somehow slighted him. The offended archfey is said to have placed a curse upon Captain Xavier's spirit, which wanders the land to this day in search of his lost treasure that The River King hid away from him.   This tale was not entirely accurate, as Captain Xavier's spirit did eventually find his treasure. The River King had hidden it away in the Sinclair Mansion, the abandoned home of one of Captain Xavier's hold enemies. Unfortunately for Captain Xavier, he could not touch the treasure. His hatred in death had transformed him into an unholy wraith and the River King had hidden the treasure in the household's chapel to Waukeen, the Merchant's Friend. The holiness of this blessed place kept Captain Xavier out and the treasure stayed hidden in her altar until it was recovered by a group of adventurers, who also defeated Captain Xavier.   Contents of the Treasure
