The Moonflow River is the largest river on the continent as well as the main waterway for reaching the sea from in-land settlements. It is the main source of water for
Haven City and many other settlements in nearby regions. Many farms also rely on the river water for their crops, as do villages who also use it for fishing and washing. Glowing flowers, bioluminescent moss, and fireflies illuminate the surface of the Moonflow River for many miles each night, creating a beautiful glow that also dissuades many would-be smugglers from conducting nighttime operations on the river. They are further dissuaded by rumors that anyone traversing the river at night runs the risk of disappearing mysteriously, never to be seen again as they are whisked away to
the River King's realm.
