TL;DR
Solo and non-Solo quests are composed of three encounters or skill challenges of one difficulty followed by one encounter or skill challenge of an increasing difficulty. i.e. easy, easy, easy, medium. You get a monetary reward based on the level of the highest character and quest difficulty.
Quest Requirements
While you adventure, you may create quests that you roleplay through. However, to get a reward for the quests you do they must meet certain parameters. An easy quest is considered done when you’ve completed three easy encounters or skill challenges and one medium encounter or skill challenge (the encounters and skill challenges are interchangeable). A medium quest is simply three medium encounters/skill challenges and a hard encounter/skill challenge. We also have hard quests which have the same specifications, but no deadly quests. Even four deadly encounters/skill challenges count as just a hard quest.
