Session 8 - Luxury Acres
General Summary
Sasha, Hamilton, and Skinny] all separate to explore the area. Sasha goes to Eleanor (of course), and finds her resting in a nice bed. Sitting before her is Elias. Sasha and Elias have definite tension, and Sasha ends up punching Elias in the face. Eleanor awakens to see this, and gets upset with Sasha.
Elias suddenly challenges Sasha to a duel, to take place right at that moment in the square. Sasha looks to Eleanor, who doesn’t provide much preference. Sasha agrees and the two step outside.
Meanwhile, Hamilton steps out of the manor and is immediately confronted by the armored man from before. He introduces himself as Octavio Talon, and offers to purchase Hamilton’s guns off of him. Hamilton refuses, and Talon presses further, until Hamilton quickly shuffles away.
He heads to what turns out to be a salon, and gets cleaned up by Mary, a short elf woman. He gets given a card on the way out, and as he leaves, he sees that it says “JOIN THE ORDER”.
During this time, Skinny and Cookie went and spoke with the Servos milling around Strain Manor. The Servos find Skinny “cute”, and poke fun at him. And they seem to take a liking to Cookie, and likewise.
Hamilton and Skinny end up joining a growing crowd outside, circling around Sasha and Elias. The two have a hectic battle, exchanging blow after blow. It isn’t until Sasha suddenly channels her magical abilities in order to knock Elias down in one blow, that she is able to claim her victory.
Elias thanks Sasha and shakes her hand, showing a newfound respect for her. Skinny catches Reginald Barnette patrolling and asks to see Oscar. Reginald denies him, insisting this is a matter for the entire group to deal with.
Once everyone is gathered, Reginald leads them to his manor and down a flight of stairs to Oscar’s room. Upon opening the door, however, they are met with a trashed room and no Oscar ro be seen. Reginald rushes upstairs to fetch Luca, leaving the group unsure of how to proceed.
