Session 34 - Afternoon Tea
General Summary
The party met Adrian Puckett and his Servo, Wendell. After getting Adrian to his bed, Wendell went to make tea for the party. Finn attempted to talk with Wendell, to no avail, while Sasha and Hamilton inspected Adrian's collection of books and discovered that he owned Hamilton's entire collection of novels! Using this as a way in, the party spoke with Adrian when he woke up, and he was overjoyed to realize he was in the company of such an esteemed archaeologist. The two spoke for quite some time, even delving into more personal matters, before Adrian insisted he must be getting to bed, and the two parted ways. Sasha and Finn had a heart-to-heart, and also attempted to teach Wendell to drink tea, with some success. The rest of the night was quiet, as was the morning. Adrian made a deal with the party: If they can infiltrate a nearby Cepharrian ruin and bring back anything of interest, Adrian will come up with some kind of plan to help them get into Liberty Castle. So, the group headed off to the ruin! Once there, they struggled through the interior and accidentally set off an alarm! The party found themselves facing off against two large security drones. The party dealt with them, and Hamilton pocketed their glowing eyes and some of their limbs. The last thing the party heard was a deep growl from the 2nd floor…
