Terrible Plaguebringer of the Sludgepits, Anathexia is the Goddess of Disease, Infection, and Deviancy. Her sphere is that of the things that revolt and horrify mortals most. She is considered one of the most hated divines of all, seen with contempt and disgust throughout Sol and by other gods. Worship of her is not seen as a way to avoid plague but to invite it in. To worship Anathexia is to be chosen by her to receive her infectious blessings, to make you an outcast to all that exists, hated by kith and kin in her decaying name. Engaging in acts of revolting filth please the Plaguebringer, from not seeking cures to diseases to displaying your rotting body to the public and, finally, engaging in cannibalism. She is the namesake of the dreadful Anathexia's Blight. Her terrible presence resides in the realm of decay known as the Sludgepits, a realm of melting flesh, slug guardians, and rotting cadavers.
