Anathexia
Goddess of Disease, Infection, and Deviancy
"Disease is egalitarian; it loves all equally."
The Wriggling Darkness
It is said that the kiss of Anathexia touches every mortal through blight, death, and revulsion. Plagueweaver, Lady Pestilence, the Saint of Sludge — Anathexia is known by as many names, just as she is the author of many plagues. From her revolting realm known as the Sludgepits, she concocts and unleashes her blights upon the world. The infernal realm is teeming with slug demons and arachnids the size of mountains, among other creations of Anathexia. Her connection to the mortal realm is strongest in places revolting to mortals or beneath their notice, such as rancid bogs, rat-filled sewers, and disease-ridden sickhouses where the living mingle with the dead. Also, the Saint of Sludge is a friend to those most forgotten in society, the beggars and outcasts, who she blesses with the gifts of pity and disregard.Morbid Obsession
Anathexia periodically may become morbidly obsessed with some object or another of her affections. In particular, she has an undying, one-sided love for Nyx. Despite the disgust Nyx feels for the Plagueweaver, her pursuit never yields and only becomes more grotesquely intense. Anathexia considers Nyx to be the most childlike, pure, innocent, and untouched of all of creation — something to be utterly defiled. Even though Anathexia loves Nyx, their one-sided dynamic results in their history being closer to rivals or bitter enemies than lovers. Anywhere Nyx has influence, Anathexia will not be far behind, willing to do anything to gain access to her muse.Divine Domains

Artifacts
Staff of Pestilence
A magical staff made of rotting flesh covered in sores, unending wounds, and oozing with pus and splotches of blood. The staff is devastatingly powerful and can unleash arcane torrents of necromantic energy, withering the victims of its magic with damage that cannot be mitigated or healed. The Staff of Pestilence can also inflict someone with a disease, a gift from the Plagueweaver. The arcane item smells of decay and excrement; it is revolting to be near it.The Retching Wreath
A circlet of a dull jade color embroidered with cracked, withered stones. The piece of jewelry is downright disappointing in appearance, but it has the ability to store hostile spells cast towards the wearer and reflect back a surge of acidic, burning vomit using the essence of the magic and a portion of its elemental power. Anyone struck by this putrid torrent is often too repulsed and nauseated to attack or do anything for a short time.Divine Symbols & Sigils
