Morlis Forward Camp

A semi-permanent outpost located near the dead bridge, south of Morlis. Originally it was nothing more than where a group of men under the command of command of Urzak Murr happened to stop for the night. After a scouting party returned with word of forces coming their way however, it was repurposed and reinforced to be a defensive position for the upcoming battle. After repelling the enemy horde, the camp was repurposed again. Creating a hub for forces operating on the dead bridge to resupply at, saving days of travel to a city, and creating an additional layer of defense for Morlis and the Treskotis border. It wasn't long before Lord Audrey ordered a group be always stationed at the camp and supplies always stocked. Some construction has begun, with only a wooden fence and some lookout platforms having been built as frequent skirmishes nearby dissuade most major trade companies from moving supplies there. With only extra resources brought by military forces coming from the north available, progress is slow. Lord Dalfis is currently in charge of the movement of resources, but this currently consists of telling troops passing through Morlis to take what construction supplies they are able to accommodate from the warehouse in Morlis to the forward camp. Even though this has already created ample opportunity for many more expeditions to be done further onto the dead bridge, and allowed for a permanent Treskotin military presence in the area, Dalfis knows Lord Audrey intends this to be used to expand Treskotin territory, and for that, a much more robust supply chain will be necessary. He is currently considering trying to hire a member of the Pyre Glaa architectural guild on the recommendation of Ivan the advisor. Ideally for both a sawmill in Morlis, and plans for a fort that could feasibly be built at the forward camp.
