The Navy
The Navy is the backbone to the body that is The World Government. Those that have an issue with The World Government are more than welcome to place their complaints in the Complaint Box. It is up for The Navy to decide if that box has a bomb awaiting inside. So it is best to have a sleight of hand when dealing with Nermoni's top brass.
Structure
The Navy is in charge of keeping order in Nermoni through the means of sea and land. They are the primary power that is under the command of The World Government and are the number one combatants against pirates. There are three classifications under the rule of The Navy; The Marines, The Navy, and The R&D Team.
The Marines - These guys are responsible for most of the policing the continents and islands scattered throughout Nermoni. The ones that are in command of The Marines is Admiral Jason Basset and Admiral Bianca Petal.
The Navy - The main group of ship faring units for The Navy. While the main association of The Navy, they are considered their own branch due to the idea that they deal with pirates and other criminals at sea. Rarely they will take to continental issues, only if The Marines request it. The Navy is under the command of Admiral Cassy Ramirez, Admiral Mercy Collins and Admiral Pierce Stenson.
The R&D Team - They officially under the banner, but are not considered a combatant force, but rather deal with expeditions, exploration, and research of Nermoni. Their overall goal is to find all the information they can about their beautiful world. Most of the time, they will be coupled with either The Marines or The Navy to more dangerous areas. They are not lead by an admiral, but by a woman known as Cherry "The Secretary" Watson.
The entire Navy is lead by Supreme Admiral Jango "The Tower" Cruzh who, as the name suggests, has supreme control of the entire force of The Navy. He has the power to override any of his Admirals. The Admirals are equivalent to military generals. However, unlike distinguished officers that stay to the backlines or even away from the action, Admirals are told to fight along side their men. Should an Admiral fall in combat, sea or land, then it is held to a vote which senior officer under their command takes the position.
Culture
The general public have mixed feelings, as they do with The World Government. While it is known to the public they are out for the safety for the citizens, many citizens report Sailors and Marines exploiting their power over the common people to get what they desire. With the military power being so large, it is understandable why many people believe they are "turning a blind eye", so it is left in the air how they are perceived.
The Navy itself prides itself on creating a system of brotherhoods very similar to the very pirates they are fighting.
Public Agenda
Their main goal is to establish peace, but above all, combat pirates no matter what the cost. It is very common to spot Marines or Sailors pick fights with pirates on purpose just so they can arrest them.
Assets
Swords, Daggers, Hammers, Guns, Ships, pretty much everything a military power would get ahold of, and then some. Within the Embassies that The World Government has holds a Barracks for the Marines, and/or a Harbor Building for The Navy, if applicable. They control fleets that establish between 6 to 20 ships depending on their agenda.
