The Algol Perseus Family

Structure

The Algol Family is structured from a hierarchy similar to the fashion of the entirety of The Pure Stars Nebula. The Major is proven to be the strongest, while the Minors are ranked based upon how strong they are during contest duels. This ranking is over the range of 27 Minors. However, most of the Minors are assigned to particular dynamics of a trade, mainly ones that deal with Magical Machinery.

Culture

Much like the motto of The Pure Stars, strength is everything. Despite their ranking as the tenth strongest family, their family was once the fourth strongest family. After such a blemish to their pride, they designate their time into becoming stronger. Most have acquired arrogance as most of the Minors are adapt enough to go toe to toe with higher ranking family members... at least in skill.

Public Agenda

The agenda they provide is one similar to the agenda of the Mensa Family, do not try to focus solely on magic. Being one of the leading representatives in the Magictology community, many of the younger family members focus on the future of enhancing the body through magic than the dependent on internal magic. Many advancements in Hemlock are thanks to The Algol Family.

Assets

They carry an abundance of Metals and Magic Sigils to help their advancements in Cybernetics and Machinery. They run a smithy inside theirs walls known as "Algol's Archive". They lack the concern for traditional weaponry and focus upon automated weaponry or Ballistics.

History

Upon the introduction of clustering with The Pure Stars, the Perseus Family was naturally strong and talented. They were placed fourth just from their impressive displays over Lightning Magic. Upon gaining more traction, they furthered displayed their cocky demeanor by the aperture between fourth place and fifth place, which was the Pictor Family, one of the crowning predecessors to The Pure Stars. With each day, they continued to push forward with requests and missions that many kingdoms, The World Government, and The Navy provided to the table. However, in 109 AF, all of this would change when Hetona would provide The Pure Stars Nebula a family wide request. It was quite simple; recover an artifact that showed clues to The Sea Emperor's Throne.   This request was of course instantly was garnered the Major to take it upon him along with 15 other Minors. However, he was not the only family to take upon this job. Among the other families was the following: Ross, Scorpius, Eta, Chi-Ursae, and Iota families were al cast to join the fray. Each family matched the respective numbers, including the Majors of the Ross, Eta, and Iota joining the quest. They set sail for their destination, Leviathans' Den, and followed the coordinates, the riddles, and ciphers they were given. However, when they arrived, they were ambushed by a family of Leviathans that were never mentioned to have nested in the location they were exploring on the island. Out of the 116 men and women that sailed to Leviathans' Den, only 31 returned. The Algol, Eta, and Iota Majors were killed, along with the entire Algol's strongest Minors were slaughtered.   With this huge impact to their power and numbers, what was once a family placed into fourth, no questions asked, they were bumped down to tenth in the send of a letter.

Demography and Population

The main force of the Algol Family is mainly comprised of Elfmon, and often are scene with goggles and face shields to obscure their face. If they have some kind of eye or faceware, it is most likely one of the Minors.
