Siam Station
Often spoken about as a junk heap in space. This isn't really a fair observation, however, it is definitely not a shiny monument to wealth and prosperity like most other orbital stations.
Siam is home to the people that do the real work in LEO and their families. Space labourers, they run cargo skiffs, build the orbiting megastructures, manage the waste, operate the belt operations. It is a hive of activity, opportunity and innovation.
The structure was originally the property of the United Nations Space agency to house workers that would build everything else in space and ended up being its own free state when the United Nations collapsed. Thanks to this there is little official corporate influence on the station.
Also thanks to this background the station is a melting pot of cultures from across the Earth, some of which were wiped out during the wars.
