Ray'Nohm

Demographics

Most, if not all, of the Genasi in Lonnhaven are in the Cothromain bloodline or born under special circumstances and are Planetouched as well. Regardless of their origin, they are found in this district as it provides the most amenities for their unique physiology.
Non-druidic Wood Elves are primarily found in Ray'Nohm, feeling more at home in the woodlands of their ancestors.

Industry & Trade

Lumber and milled materials are the chief exports of the district. People also come from all over Lonnhaven to see the wall-murals of the lower district.

Infrastructure

Many watermills exist alongside the canals.

Guilds and Factions

The Cothromain bloodline controls this district. It is home to various families within Honorbound and 1-3 Draoi campuses.

Architecture

Regarded as the natural district, most of this district is covered in forest and made to seem as if nature was taking its course while still facilitating city life. Rivers flow through major hubs creating "natural" aqueducts, providing quick, local ground transport with the Ulsce running the operations.
Most of the upper district is built within a forest of redwoods. The buildings are constructed with that in mind: building into trees, avoiding them altogether, or celebrating one by constructing around it. It is a sign of great wealth if a mansion is build into the canopy of the trees.
The lower section of Ray'Nohm is divided into lumber groves and civilization, with the aqueducts dividing them. Buildings here are almost solely built with transmuted walls of stone, making the architecture quite simple. The buildings do not remain plain though. Denizens of the lower Ray'Nohm district relish in decorating the stone walls. While tagging is frequent in Lonnhaven, this district actually has the least amount of buildings marked. Instead, walls are covered in beautiful murals of all different art styles and subjects. Some nobles in the upper district try to emulate, by commission, these awe-inspiring works of art, but no piece compares to the raw emotion seen in the lower district.
