Shod
Shod is a byproduct during the smelting of Karbon Ore. The huge furnaces that make up a large proportion of the Furnace District dump it directly onto the shores of the Libben. One of the highest paid 'unskilled labour' jobs of the city is Shod Shovelling, where they move all of the shod into the Libben as a method of disposal.

Shod comes out the furnace pipes as liquid, but quickly cools when it touched the water of the Libben. When shod shovellers are dealing with it, it's between these two states as a form of 'slush'.
