Usually those born into service of the nobles of the order or those hoping to join the order as squires, the civilians and retinue usually help keep Castle Averni running and the order supplied and fed they form the backbone of the Sons of Getorix, allowing the other parts of the order to focus their efforts on their own important matters.

History
Origins
Said to be founded by the legendary Loui Getorix himself as a circle of his closest friends and advisors to help protect his newly found realm of Lefrank from Elves seeking revenge for their misfortunes.
Early History
After the death of Getorix and the dissolution of the kingdom back into Petty kingdoms and duchies the order remained in the background aiding numerous rulers in their attempts to reunite Lefrank to her former glory, when this was finally accomplished by the order was awarded the old hunting lodge of Getorix that would soon be known as Averni by all.
Growing with the Kingdom
Over the next few 100 years the land would be built up from a small Guild house to a small wooden castle and see the Sons involving themselves in numerous wars as vassals of the Loui of Lefrank.
Age of the Dragon Lords
In 1523AGD the Dragons of the North came and enslaved much of the lands of Sorvia leaving few places a safe haven for all, however strong magics from both unknown sources and refugee mages from the mages guild helped hide Averni from the gaze of the dragons allowing it to grow into a larger stone castle with a smaller village of refugees not far from the castle.
Age of the Dracnasorvans
Eventually with the aid of the Sons of Getorix and other factions within the kingdom and without the Dragons of the North were overthrown and the 6 kingdoms of Sorvia were unitited by the Dracnasorvans. After this despite the vassalage to the Loui of Lefrank the Sons of Getorix began preoccupying themselves with other matters and using their Guildmasters friendship with the newly founded House Dracnasorva to strongarm the Loui to give them increased Autonomy.
Present
At present time relations between the Sons and Loui Narcoze Lecron III are incredibly frayed after numerous refusals to send levies in the build up of forces due to turmoil throughout the Empire.
