Grimm Faustus
Rose Monarch Grimmjaw Faustus Onyx (a.k.a. The Black-Winged)
Former Rose Monarch (deceased) and elder brother of Lux Faustus. Grimm served in the Knights of the Onyx Throne, a position which allowed for him to gain experience on the front lines against the numerous threats running rampant across Respite without relinquishing his claim to the position of Rose Monarch. He won the title in a duel against Kalitas Falkenrath and Diana Capashen. As Rose Monarch, he focused his efforts on eradicating the Stitcher Black Market from Respite. Numerous laboratories were seized and over a dozen necromancers put on trial.
Grimm's death remains the subject of investigation. On a routine excursion, he took ill. Grimm dismissed the illness as stress or lack of sleep, but as his symptoms grew worse he could no longer ignore the debilitating effects it was having on him. Diagnosed with a rare blood illness, Grimm set off to have it treated at once.
En route to the Clerics, Grimm's caravan was attacked by bandits, and the former winged demonic warrior who struck fear into the hearts of even the Lycan was found dead, having passed out during the assault and been stabbed to death dozens of times.
