Weave

The Paradox Spinners, Arachnitha who reside within the Tapestrum Arcanum, are capable of spinning the raw substance of the tapestry into an exotic and unbelievably powerful material known as Weave.

Creation

Paradox Spinners consume the primordial magic that makes up the Tapestrum Arcanum and their bodies metabolize it in their crystalline abdomen, infusing their webbing with all that sorcerous potential.
When spun, the webbing is incredibly thin and requires several hundred layers more to become sturdy enough for use in tailoring or leatherworking, meaning that a single bolt of Weave takes months of concentrated effort to spin.

Qualities

The magical fabric has the unique property of being able to absorb and contain concepts; abstract ideas that then impart their essence to the article of clothing made from Weave.
For instance, say a mage infuses the material with the idea of being unseen, of hiding in plain sight. This would cause the resulting garment to become literally invisible and it would similarly obfuscate anyone wearing it. Another example could be a helmet with a lining of Weave infused with the concept of true sight, unobstructed by any obstacle in this realm or any other.
With this in mind, it is easy to see how Weave has literally infinite potential. But as is most often the case, great power comes with great risk. Infusing the fabric with a concept is not an easy task, only really achievable by the most skilled of mages or the Paradox Spinners themselves without botching the process in some horrid way that causes the Weave to assume the properties of a concept erroneously or too literally.
In the latter of the aforementioned examples, it would be supremely difficult to anyone but the most shrewd of minds to rein in the concept of true, unobstructed vision without making donning the helmet a sanity-rending experience wherein the wearer literally sees everything all at once.

Value

It comes as no surprise that Weave is one of the, if not the most valuable material on the face of Nascindor. Scant few individuals have even seen its iridescent hues, much less own even a singular bolt of it.
Something so valuable is of great interest to both the Midnight Exchange and Iron Cartel, the cutthroat factions seeking to secure a way to acquire the fabled fabric. It is perhaps lucky for the Paradox Spinners that they reside inside the Tapestry, for they would surely be hunted down and enslaved to produce Weave should they dwell in the realm of the mundane.
The mysterious Arachnitha sell Weave to wanderers who end up in their home within the Tapestry, the burrow-home Fi'zwa. On the non-euclidean pathways of that confusing nest, masterful Arachnithan weavers sell breathtaking garments made from Weave, asking not for coin as payment but inspiration for their next work.

Of course it is real! Are you calling me a cheat?!
