Warp and Weft World
Warp and Weft World is tucked into the northeast corner of the chaotic Mirage Market, its vibrantly patterned awnings and banners standing out even in the sensory overload of the bazaar. The aromatic scents of myriad dyes and treatments waft from within the cozy but spacious shop.
Rows of ornate handcrafted carpets line the walls, some rolled up and others hovering lightly above the polished stone floor. A handful of carpets gracefully glide through the shop at about head height, directed by the proprietor's gestures.
The proprietor is a stocky dwarven woman named Dela Runescribe, her fingers stained from ink and adorned with rings. She warmly welcomes visitors while continuing to scribble in a thick ledger.
An immense loom stands in the back of the shop, where apprentices work threads and dyes into new carpet designs. A staircase leads down to a basement workshop filled with vats, drying racks, wooden frames, and other tools of the carpetsmith's trade.
