The Archives
Structure
The Archives are made up of numerous agents called Archivists that all share equal rank regardless of experience, as well as several specialists that serve as head of security, or head librarian. Roles are created as needed, such as the 'head of artifact testing' - an odd role created due to the large number of cursed or unidentifiable items the Archives regularly receives.
History
The Archives is a private, semi-secret organization of adventurers lead by Vincent Savino. Founded by Savino in 3923 EC, The Archives is a disparate group of adventurers, researchers, and historians who together work to track down, retrieve, and store magical items. Intended to prevent dangerous items from getting into the world, the organization additionally monitors various dangerous prophecies to help prevent disaster.
