Geographical Distribution

Dwarvish dialects are spoken wherever dwarves are found in large numbers - most commonly in mountainous regions. The Katarine Heights are the former home of the Stross dwarves.
The dwarvish language is ancient, and diverged into numerous sub dialects long ago. Generally dwarvish dialects are mutually-intelligible, and thanks to its speakers long lives the language tends to change quite slowly.
