Hiyjel

The Hiyjel are a farming people. Residents of the eastern Joorduunim area, they are more inclined to open wide fields with less threat of monstrous incursion. Hiyjel are more open minded when it comes to magic, allowing the more well intentioned castors to be openly present. As a result their lands are more relaxed and protected. A sense of peace and respect allows the Hiyjel to live without the anxiety of many humans.
Hiyjel are medium in size and stature, with red hair and green eyes as common biological traits. As a people they often fall into a more patriarchal society with the men taking the lead on governing and leadership rolls, with the women taking a step back for child care and similar activities.
